Francis (Frank) was married twice.
The marriage certificate of Frank and Caroline Shooter shows that Francis Godber was 20 years old, and a collier living at Sot's (?) Hole, his father was John Godber whose occupation is given as FWK (Frame work knitter??) and Caroline aged 17 seamer living at The Hollow, father being John Shooter, Labourer. Neither Francis nor Caroline could write and witnesses were Samuel Soars ??? and Charlotte Shooter. They were married by William Goodacre, Curate of the Parish Church at Sutton in Ashfield.
Frank and Caroline were married in November 1849. On January 17th 1850 Caroline gave birth to a baby daughter who was named Francis. Baby Francis died the following day and Caroline died 2 days later on the 20th of January.
Frank then married Margaret (Peggy) Boot (Godber). in 1852

Alleged Larceny - Adam Cook, collier, Stanton Hill was charged with having stolen half a sovereign from Frank Godber, at the above place on the 26th ult. Prisoner pleaded not guilty and the bench thinking the case not strong enough to be sent to a jury dismissed it,
Francis / Frank Godber appears to have died prior to the 1901 census, but I have been unable to find his death to date.

in the 1851 Census, Hannah is living with her step mother and family. She is said to be of "weak Intellect" and possibly is deaf.
I have found a death in 1909 of a Hannah Godber who was in the Castlemaine Benevolent Asylum at the time of her death. Her age is correct and the time in Victoria is stated as 59 years, which also matches the approximate time of arrival of Job and Mary Godber and family to Victoria. Parents are unknown, and all other details are unknown, but I assume it to be the correct Hannah.

Job was the third of eight children. He apparently worked his passage to Australia as a Ships' carpenter arriving in Melbourne during Jan of 1841. His wife and second family did not follow until 10 years later in 1851. Meanwhile his daughter Martha, died in Sutton in Ashfield at the age of 9 in 1844. The children from his first marriage married and settled in England. After arriving in Melbourne Job worked as a carpenter and at one stage worked on the building of St. James Old Cathedral. In the 1869 Directory he is listed as a joiner at 206 Lonsdale St Melbourne. His photograph is included in the Chuck Collection. There are a number of Elizabeth Witham's and I have also found John Godber marrying Elizabeth Page in 1807, so I am not sure which is the mother of his children. Lavinia married in 1914. Saffrey Simpson's family had been in W.A. (Swan River Colony) since the Foundation year of 1829. He started as an office boy at the Perth City Council in 1900 and worked there for 25 years, resigning in 1926 to go farming in Popanjinning. Before the farm got properly going the depression came (wool 15d a pound, wheat 3/- a bushell, eggs 6d a dozen), and things were tough, but for all that we had plenty of happy times. Lavinia had a lovely singing voice so was in great demand to sing solos, and we had great sing songs around the piano. We got our first motor vehicle in 1936 (before that we had a horse and cart), a wireless in 1938 and we had to wait until well after the War for our first fridge.
When the War came Saffrey joined the Army Pay Corps and we left the farm and lived in South Perth. After the War Saffrey worked in W.A. Forests Dept, and on retirement in 1953 came out to live at Gosnells.
