In 1911 Sarah, Flora and Alice were in the Northamptom Work house, Wellingborough, but I can find no mention of Thomas. Sarah is said to be married in the census document so I presume that Thomas was still alive at this time. The census also states that Sarah has 8 living children and none deceased and has been married for 19 years

General:
After the death of William's first wife following childbirth, he married in 1888 to his housekeeper Charlotte Elizabeth Hull nee Brains 1850-1918. Free BMD Marriages Jun 1888 ILIFF William Kettering 3b 342

Charlotte Brains had married Thomas Hulls in 1872, and no further trace has been found to date of Thomas. Charlotte had one child at the time of their marriage, Charles Edward Brains 1871-1892. She and William Iliffe had a further 5 children. Most histories state 6 childrne, but there is a William listed in the 1891 census as 7 years old, but this is mis-transcribed and should read 17 years old and is William the child of William's first wife Charlotte Loweth.

Irthlingborough - Inquest

An inquest was held at the Bull inn on Saturday afternoon, before Mr. J.T.Parking, coroner, to inquire into the death of William Iliff, of Burton Latimer, who fell from a straw stack on Thursday week. - Jacob Rabbit, a lad, said he was in Mr G. Parson's yard about 5 o'clock on Thursday, and saw deceased on the stack throwing straw down to a lad in a waggon, when he overbalanced and fell head first on to the shafts of the waggon, and then on to the ground. He went and gave the alarm at once, and some people came. - George Edwin Drage said he was working with the deceased loading the waggon. Deceased was putting some straw down to him, when he overbalanced and fell on to the shafts, and then on to the ground. He went to him and found him unconscious. He had been with the deceased since 3.30, and they had two pints of beer, of which he had a little. - Henry Buck, manager to the Irthlingborough Iron Ore Company, said deceased worked for him as a labourer, and was 60 years of age. On Thursday about four o'clock, he sent deceased to Mr. G. Parson's yard for some straw. He was a steady man, and well used to his work. - Dr Robb said he was passing about five minutes after the accident happened, and was called to see the deceased, who was unconscious, and lying on the ground close to the shafts of the waggon. He had him conveyed on a stretcher down to his surgery, and upon examination he found a slight bruise over the right eye and on the right elbow. He recovered partial consciousness, and was taken to his lodgings and put to bed, where he died the following night about ten o'clock. He was of the opinion that death was due to laceration of the brain and hemorrhage, and might have been caused by a fall. - The jury returned a verdict accordingly, and handed their fees to the widow.

Burton Latimer
A child burnt to death

Mr J.T.Parker held an inquest at the Duke's Arms Inn, Burton Latimer, on Monday evening touching the death of Percy James Iliffe, aged four years, who met with his death under circumstances detailed in the evidence. - Mr. J.L.Price, surgeon, Kettering, said he was sent for to see the deceased on Sunday, and found him burnt about the neck chest, and thighs, and there was little hope of his recovery. He died of shock resulting from those burns. - Albert Iliffe, brother of the deceased, said that on Sunday morning, about eight o'clock, he saw the deceased in flames in the kitchen. - Charlotte Iliffe, the mother, also gave evidence, and the jury returned a verdict of "Accidental death".
